So my friend Grant & I rode from Ktown to East Los Angeles for Dia De Los Muertos(Day of the Dead) to check out Azul’s Peace Project mural and the Hit & Run booth. It was a bit sketch riding through the hoods of Boyle Heights and East LA but we made it to the event no problem. When we arrived got to catch up with Mike from Hit & Run & Azul from Peace Project/213*. Hit&Run doing it big and definitely a brand to watch out for.

Many families were enjoying the event admiring the art, food, and music. Azul’s mural caught everybody’s eye. A really great piece of artwork that really defined Dia De Los Muertos. Also if you are interested in checking out more photos related to Dia De Los Muertos check out Pablo Aguilar’s book, Bella Muerte, a series that celebrates the beauty of life and death.
