FISH & CHIPS

Back in the summer of 2008 we grabbed our miniDV cameras and started shooting a group of fixed gear riders called the Shady Mob crew from L.A. We started editing in the beginning of 2009 and came out with the term Pedal Mobbin or mobbin on pedals. It inspired us to create Mr. Sabertoof the official mascot of Pedal Mobbin and we released the video in the begininning of 2010. Since all of us ride at EMORTAL, we wanted to support the bike community by documenting through photos and videos of rides & races all over LA. We ultimateley gathered a group of talented race & trick guys to represent EMORTAL’s cycle division the Pedal Mobbin Crew.

We are proud to have Dylan Hurst-Lawley aka “Fish & Chips” to represent EMORTAL & the Pedal Mobbin Crew. Recently Fish & Chips got his bike stolen at OccupyLA. We felt his loss because a bike is an extenstion of one’s self. A couple days later we got a text from the team manager Malik, that someone in the bike community helped Fish get his bike back. We at EMORTAL realized LA’s bike community is more like a family and it seems to be like that in other cities all over the world that embraces the bike culture.

Right after we signed Fish & Chips to our team, we found out he was actually out there all this time supporting the 99% at OccupyLA. A true Extraordinary MORTAL who dedicates his time for others, fighting for what he believes in, keeping it humble, and just tearing it up on his fixed gear bike.

We at EMORTAL also represent the 99% but we support our new rider Dylan “Fish & Chips” Hurst a full 100%. And the same goes for everyone in the EMORTAL family!

Stay Sharp my friends and stay tune for more video series featuring the Pedal Mobbin Crew…
