It was a very somber week for myself and my family. We had to put Kayana the family dog to sleep last Monday June 20. If you ever had a pet you probably know how I feel. She was a black lab that lived an awesome 13 years and would have been 14 years old on July 2. Funny how animals can teach us humans, about life, loyalty, communication, companionship, patience, and most of all love. She was with us through good times and hard times with absolutely no bias. They say animals have no soul. But I believe once a pet bonds with us, the connection will never be broken. RIP Kayana, you will be missed by family, friends, and the children that loved you. We will play again one day….
